The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we will never ask for your kids' names or photos. Homeschool families are careful about their children's privacy, and so are we.
Who we are
Field Day Pass is a membership program for homeschool families in the Las Vegas Valley, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. When this policy says "we" or "us," it means Field Day Pass.
What we collect
When you join our list or unlock the directory: your first name and email address.
If you answer our survey: your email, the part of the valley you live in, how many kids would come along, their age ranges, the kinds of places you'd visit, your best days, what price feels fair, and anything you choose to write in the optional boxes.
What we never collect: your children's names, photos of your children, or payment details. We also don't ask anyone to post pictures of their kids for our marketing.
How we use it
- To send you updates about Field Day Pass, including our launch.
- To send you our short survey after you sign up.
- To decide which venues to partner with first and what to charge.
- To show venues how much interest there is, using only combined totals like "40 families in Henderson." We never share your name, email or individual answers with a venue.
What we never do
We don't sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. We don't use advertising trackers on this site.
Services that help us run the site
A few outside services handle parts of the website for us. They only receive what they need to do their job:
- Netlify hosts the website.
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our email inbox.
- Our email provider stores the messages we send and receive.
- Google Fonts provides the lettering on our pages, which means your browser connects to Google to load it.
What we save on your device
When you unlock the directory, your browser saves a small note so you don't have to sign up again on your next visit. It doesn't contain your name or email, and it isn't used to track you. Clearing your browser data removes it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're on our list. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we'll remove it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime by replying to any of our emails and asking to be removed.
- See or delete your information by emailing us at hello@yourdomain.com. We'll take care of it promptly.
Children
This site is meant for parents and guardians. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll let our list know by email.
